I. AGREEMENT WITH GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ? RAIL LINE ACQUISITION:



Authorization is requested to enter into an agreement with the Georgia

Department of Transportation for the purchase of an abandoned rail line located

behind the Trade Center. An agenda report and resolution are included.



II. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS ? GOVERNOR?S EMERGENCY FUND GRANT:



Authorization is requested to accept a grant from the Governor?s

Emergency Fund in the amount of $20,000 to assist Columbus Alliance for

Regional Investment with the Business One Stop Shop and amend the

Multi-Governmental Fund by like amount. An agenda report and resolution are

included.



III. ACCEPTANCE STREET ? PERDUE LANE:



Authorization is requested to accept the deed to Perdue Lane located in

Section Fifteen, Sweetwater Village. An agenda report, map and resolution are

included.



IV. ACCEPTANCE STREET ? BUNKER RIDGE LANE:



Authorization is requested to accept the deed to Bunker Ridge Lane

located in Section Four, Bunker Ridge Subdivision. An agenda report, map and

resolution are included.





NOTE: THERE WILL BE A BUDGET REVIEW MEETING @ 3:00P.M. IN THE GROUND FLOOR

RFP No. 02-0038

Scope of RFP

Provide Columbus Consolidated Government with commercial property,

crime and liability insurance. The contract shall be for two years with the

option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal

will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.
