Subject Pension Plan
Description If possible, have the staff to provide some numbers as it relates
to recruitment of public safety officers and how the recruitment of those
officers would be impacted by the change we just made in the pension plan.
Also, provide a list of those people that are leaving the Public Safety
Department through attrition and how many years of service they had and how
does that break down. He said he would like to know if most of them are
retiring or if there are a number of them that are in the seven to eight year
ranges. (Request of Councilor Henderson)
