The terms of office of Mr. James Buntin and Mr. Frank Etheridge on the

Downtown Development Authority will expire on August 15, 2003.



They are not eligible to succeed themselves, as this will be the end of

their second full term of office, as well as a portion of an unexpired term

when they were first appointed to the board in 1986 and 1989.



Including Mr. Buntin and Mr. Etheridge, there are four members who reside

in Senatorial District 15 and three members who reside in Senatorial District

16.



There is currently one (1) woman who serves on this board.



Enclosed is a copy of our data sheet, as well as a list of the current

members.

than four members in the judgment of the Council, either have or represent a

part who has an economic interest in the redevelopment and revitalization of

the downtown development area. See also, Sec. 2-3.02 (a) Col. Code for general

qualifications for all boards.

Charge/Mission

This board issues bonds to finance private industrial and business projects for

the downtown area only. Its seven (7) members shall be residents of Columbus,

not less than four (4) of which shall, in the judgement of the Columbus

Council, either have or represent a party who has an economic interest in the

redevelopment and revitalization of the downtown development area. (Ga. Laws
