An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 1524 and 1532 Harvey Avenue, from R-4 (High Density Residential)

District to C-3 (General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-4 (High Density

Residential) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:



All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, being known and designated as LOTS 122 & 123, as said

lots appear upon a map or plat entitled ?Replat of Lots 21, 22, & 23, W. T.

HARVEY LUMBER CO?S. PROPERTY, Lying in Land Lot 10, Coweta Reserve, Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia?, dated June 3, 2002, prepared by Hobbs Smith &

Associates, recorded in Plat Book 146, Page 61, in the Office of the Clerk of

the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which reference is made for

the particular location and dimensions of said lot.





The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



All lighting shall be directed internally using deflector shields.
