AN ORDINANCE

An ordinance amending Section 20-20.8 of the Columbus Code on vehicle

immobilization so as to establish an amnesty period during which violators'

vehicles will not be immobilized.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:



SECTION 1.



Section 20-20.8 of the Columbus Code is hereby amended so that as amended,

said section shall read as follows:



"The City Manager may designate and announce amnesty periods during which

violators' vehicles will not be subject to immobilization."



SECTION 2.



All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are

hereby repealed.
