An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 5700 Billings Road from R-1 (Low Density Residential) District to

A-1 (Agricultural) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-1 (Low Density

Residential) District to A-1 (Agricultural) District:



All that lot, tract or parcel of land, lying and being in Land Lot 28, 9th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, being more particularly described

as follows, to-wit:



Beginning at a concrete monument set on the northwest margin of the Columbus

Manchester Expressway right-of-way (said point being 290 feet northwest of the

center line of said Expressway) at the easternmost point of the line formed by

the intersection of said Expressway with the easterly side of Billings Road,

and from said point of beginning running thence North 71 degrees 34 minutes 57

seconds West, along the line formed by the intersection of said Expressway with

said Road, a distance of 109.66 feet to a concrete monument; running thence

North 86 degrees 21 minutes 57 seconds West, along the line formed by the

intersection of said Expressway with said Road, a distance of 20 feet to an

iron pin set on the east side of Billings Road, thence running North 03 degrees

38 minutes 03 seconds East, along said east margin of billings Road, a distance

of 812.28 feet to an iron pin found; running thence North 87 degrees 22 minutes

57 seconds East the following distances: 259.21 feet to an iron pin found,

425.80 feet to an iron pin found, and 404.48 feet to an iron pin found on the

northwest side of the Columbus-Manchester Expressway; running thence South 42

degrees 38 minutes 43 seconds West, along said northwest margin of said

Expressway, a distance of 832.49 feet to an iron pin set; and running thence

South 57 degrees 51 minutes 12 seconds West along said northwest margin of said

Expressway, a distance of 533.69 feet to the concrete monument marking the

point of beginning.
