Cancelling the regularly scheduled Council meeting of June 29, 2004.

WHEREAS, various members of the Columbus Council and city officials will

be attending the Georgia Municipal Association?s Annual Convention in Savannah,

Georgia on June 26-29, 2004; and,



WHEREAS, the business of the Consolidated Government can be properly

conducted without the necessity of a Council meeting on Tuesday, June 29, 2004.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



That the regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia originally

scheduled for June 29, 2004 is hereby cancelled.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held

on the 8th day of June 2004 and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote

of members of said Council.
