WHEREAS, Mr. George S. Hale, a Crew Leader with the Public Services Rainwater
Management, retired on January 31, 2002;
WHEREAS, Mr. Hale has been with the Public Services Rainwater Management since
February 15, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MR. GEORGE S. HALE
who has served with the Public Services Rainwater Management for 4 years. We
wish for him happiness and contentment in his retirement.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Barbara M. Hicks, a Chief Adult Probation Officer with the Adult
Probation Office, retired on March 31, 2002;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hicks has been with the Adult Probation Office since October 14,
1974.

WHEREAS, Mr. Idas Brannon, former employee with the Public Services Department,
died on January 10, 2002;
WHEREAS, Mr. Brannon retired on January 31, 1977 after serving 16 years with
the Public Services Department.

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Idas Brannon our sincere condolences and
