We have just received draft copies of new City job descriptions from

representatives of Carl Vinson Institute of Government. The next step in the

process is to distribute the draft copies to the department heads for review

and in mid-August, Carl Vinson reps will meet with each department head to

verify the accuracy of the draft job descriptions. After the job descriptions

are validated, then Carl Vinson will bring the first draft of the pay study for

your review.



Please advise if you have any questions or concerns, otherwise the draft job

descriptions will be distributed to the department heads next week.
