An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located in the northeastern portion of Sonoma Pointe subdivision from A-1
(Agricultural) and R-2 (Low Density Residential) Districts to R-2 (Low Density
Residential) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from A-1 (Agricultural)
and R-2 (Low Density Residential) Districts to R-2 (Low Density Residential)
District:
Commencing from a point on city right-of-way at the northeast corner of
intersection of Blackmon Road and Warm Springs Road, thence heading N 66
degrees 24 minutes 12 seconds W a distance of 958.17 feet to a point, thence
turning N 22 degrees 06 minutes 53 seconds E a distance of 15.00 feet to a
point, thence turning N 67 degrees 10 minutes 21 seconds W a distance of 34.52
feet to a point, thence traveling along a curve to the right on an arc of
101.44 feet, with a radius of 1,387.94 on a cord bearing of N 64 degrees 21
minutes 58 seconds W a distance of 101.42 feet to an iron pin; thence running
in a northeasterly direction along the southern property line of Section One,
Sonoma Pointe subdivision, a distance of 560.83 feet to an iron pin that marks
the Point of Beginning.

The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:
All proposed lots shall meet the front, side, and rear setback requirements of
the R-3 zoning district.
