An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located on the southern border of Greystone Farms apartment complex from R-1

(Low Density Residential) District to R-4 (High Density Residential) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-1 (Low Density

Residential) District to R-4 (High Density Residential) District:



All that lot or parcel of land lying and being Part of Land Lot 3, 9th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly

described as follows:



BEGIN at an iron stake marking the northeast corner of Land Lot 3, 9th

District, said corner being a common corner to Land Lots 2, 3, 30, and 31, 9th

District; thence South 02 degrees 33 minutes 13 seconds East, along the

easterly line of Land Lot 3, 598.91 feet to an iron stake; thence leaving said

Land Lot line, South 73 degrees 07 minutes 06 seconds West, 61.92 feet to an

iron stake; thence South 73 degrees 06 minutes 58 seconds West, 86.38 feet to

an iron stake; thence North 74 degrees 01 minutes 08 seconds West, 133.92 feet

to an iron stake; thence North 71 degrees 22 minutes 37 seconds West, 211.60

feet to an iron stake; thence South 80 degrees 04 minutes 11 seconds West,

158.29 feet to an iron stake; thence North 87 degrees 59 minutes 10 seconds

West, 171.73 feet to an iron stake; thence South 88 degrees 52 minutes 06

seconds West, 146.64 feet to an iron stake; thence North 78 degrees 32 minutes

57 seconds West, 128.90 feet to an iron stake in the center of Cooper Creek;

thence northwesterly and northerly, along the center of Cooper Creek, 566 feet,

more or less, to an iron stake on the north line of said Land Lot 3, 9th

District; thence North 87 degrees 59 minutes 14 seconds East, along the

northerly line of said Land Lot 3, 1,225.0 feet to an iron stake; thence North

88 degrees 03 minutes 47 seconds East, along the northerly line of said Land

Lot 3, 60.0 feet to an iron stake at the point of beginning.
