WHEREAS, Ms. Marjorie W. Bettis, with the Columbus Parks & Recreation
Department, retired on August 31, 2003;
WHEREAS, Ms. Bettis has been with the Columbus Parks & Recreation Department
since October 1, 1963;
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MS. MARJORIE W. BETTIS
who has served with the Columbus Parks & Recreation Department for nearly 40
years. We wish for her happiness and contentment in her retirement.

Department, retired on August 31, 2003;
WHEREAS, Mr. Landenberg has been with the Sheriff's Department since July 16,
1981;
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
