The Elections and Registration Board meeting was held November 17, 2002 at 2:00

p.m.



Members Present: Jan Dickens ? Chairperson

Margaret

The Chairperson called the meeting to order.



New Business: Provisional Voting ? Mr. Glenn Wallace, Voter Registration

Coordinator, gave the board a report on the number of provisional ballots

received and the number of valid ballots that were to be counted.



General Election: The consolidation team, along with the Diebold technician

are presently in the process of counting the provisional ballots under the

supervision of the Board of Elections. The Elections Board certified the

General Election results plus the provisional ballots cast.



There was a discussion about concerns some of the board members observed during

the November General Election. The chairperson suggested that the board members

write down their concerns in regard to the General Election and present them at

the December board meeting.



The date for the January board meeting will be held on January 9, 2003, because

of the upcoming holiday.



Old Business: By-Laws ? Mr. Barfield stated that the by-laws will be presented

to the board at the next meeting for review.



Being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
