The term of office of Mr. Tommy Hinton on the Building Contractors

Examining Board will expire on December 31, 2002. He is eligible to succeed

himself.



This board has five members, four of which must be building contractors

holding valid Columbus contractors= business license.



All of the current members serving on this board are Senatorial District

16 representatives. There is currently one (1) woman serving on this board.



Enclosed is a copy of our data sheet, as well as a list of the current

members.

Charge/Mission

This board determines the qualifications of applicants for building contractors

licenses. It has five members. Four of its members shall be building

contractors holding valid Columbus contractor's business license. The fifth

member is the Chief of the Inspection and Code Enforcement Division of the

Department of Community Development. (Columbus Code, Sec. 8-12.1 through

8-12.14)
