A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Mr. Donald W. Pope, a Lieutenant Correctional
Officer with the Muscogee County Prison, retired on January 31, 2004;
WHEREAS, Mr. Pope has been with the Muscogee County Prison since February 22,
1988.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MR. DONALD W. POPE
who has served with the Muscogee County Prison for 16 years. We wish for him
happiness and contentment in his retirement.

Services, retired on February 29, 2004;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Henderson has been with Park Services since March 24, 1993.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MRS. CATHERINE E. HENDERSON
who has served with Park Services for 11 years. We wish for her happiness and
contentment in her retirement.

Prison, retired on March 31, 2004;
WHEREAS, Mr. Boddie has been with the Muscogee County Prison since May 16, 1988.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Miriam T. Jones, former employee with the Tax Assessor?s Office,
died on December 25, 2003;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Miriam T. Jones retired on December 31, 1975 after serving more
than 31 years with the Tax Assessor's Office.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Miriam T. Jones our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mrs. Jones was an outstanding employee of the Tax
Assessor's Office and she will be missed by all who knew her.

WHEREAS, Mr. Jack B. Miller retired on January 31, 1987 after serving 15 years
with the METRA Maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Jack B. Miller our sincere condolences

died on January 24, 2004;
WHEREAS, Mr. Harold Randall retired on June 30, 1972 after serving 32 years
with the Columbus Fire Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Harold Randall our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mr. Randall was an outstanding employee of the Columbus
Fire Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.
