A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Hardaway High School girls soccer team recently ended their season

after advancing to the Class AAAA state semi-finals for the first time in

school history;



WHEREAS, the Lady Hawks lost to St. Pius X in the semifinal game by a score of

1-0 and finished a great season with a record of

16-3;



WHEREAS, the Lady Hawks defeated Bainbridge 15-0 in the first round of the

Class AAAA state playoffs at the Woodruff Farm Soccer Complex;



WHEREAS, Hardaway also defeated Whitewater 2-0 to advance to the quarterfinals;



WHEREAS, the accomplishments of the Hardaway Lady Hawks soccer team are worthy

of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Collins Anderson, Krystal Lokkesmoe,

Jennifer Keehn, Crystal Anne Covey, Leslie Hilding, Melinda Bush, Starr

Plemons, Amanda Reynolds, Tatum Butterfield, Sam Dupont, Anna Eklund, Erin

Moore, Tiffany Julien, Bianca Bruce, Nikki Martinaeau, Jackie Denova, Melissa

Gamble, Ashli Julien, Mary Hart, Head Coach Mike Lydiate and Team Executive

Fran Paepcke upon reaching the Class AAAA state semifinal and upon their

outstanding season. Let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the

above-named participants.
