A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, since 1994, Mr. R. Lamar Beck has graciously allowed his land located

at 13555 Macon Road to be used as a temporary fire station which has served the

Midland-Upatoi areas;



WHEREAS, because of Mr. Beck's assistance, citizens in these areas have been

provided a reliable source of fire protection during the past eight years;



WHEREAS, this generous allowance by Mr. Beck is worthy of special recognition

by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and express our deep appreciation to Mr. R. Lamar Beck for

graciously allowing the Columbus Consolidated Government to use his property

located at 13555 Macon Road for a temporary fire station which has served the

citizens of the Midland-Upatoi areas. Let a copy of this resolution be

forwarded to Mr. R. Lamar Beck.
