An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 6740 Mobley Road, from R-1 (Low Density Residential) District to
R-1A (Low Density Residential) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from R-1 (Low Density
Residential) District to R-1A (Low Density Residential) District:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the State of
Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being Parcel ?C? of that
certain Subdivision of land known as PROPERTY OF THE ESTATE OF W. B. MOBLEY,
PART OF LAND LOT 78, 8TH DISTRICT, according to a map or plat of said
Subdivision, prepared by G.V. Carr & Co., dated June 18, 1965, and recorded in
Plat Book 36, Folio 80, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of
Muscogee County, Georgia, to which plat reference is made for a more complete
and accurate description of the property herein conveyed.
The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:
1. No driveway or direct street access shall be permitted to Mobley Road.
2. No more than a total of 53 lots shall be developed on the property subject
to rezoning combined with the property rezoned to an R-1A District by Ordinance
No. 03-98.

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 6802 Mobley Road, from R-1 (Low Density Residential) District to
R-1A (Low Density Residential) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from R-1 (Low Density
Residential) District to R-1A (Low Density Residential) District:
Commencing at an iron stake at the northwest corner of the property of Robert
M. Smith (also known as 6836 Mobley Road) and Mobley Road, which marks the
point of beginning, proceed South 02 degrees 16 minutes 58 seconds East a
distance of 630.08 feet to an iron stake; thence running South 01 degree 57
minutes East a distance of 642.03 feet to an iron stake; thence running South
34 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 447.00 feet to an iron
stake; thence running South 56 degrees 18 minutes 06 seconds West a distance of
654.14 feet to an iron stake; thence running North 14 degrees 16 minutes West a
distance of 735.14 feet to an iron stake; thence running North 31 degrees 58
minutes East a distance of 397.70 feet to an iron stake; thence running North
25 degrees 02 seconds West a distance of 507.00 feet to an iron stake; thence
running North 47 degrees 31 minutes 23 seconds East along a radius of 1,031.08
feet for a distance of 343.05 feet to an iron stake; thence running North 34
degrees 12 minutes 27 seconds East along a radius of 2,421.05 feet a distance
of 319.78 feet to an iron stake which marks the point of beginning.
The above described property is rezoned with the following condition:
1. No more than 42 lots shall be developed on the property subject to
rezoning.
