The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at

2:00PM with Chairman Lawton Grantham, Assessors Richard Stallings, Ann

Grantham, William Braxton and Pat Hunter present. Also present was Chief

Appraiser Martin J. Land.



Assessor Ann Grantham made a motion to approve Minutes #08-04, Assessor Richard

Stallings second the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The Board reviewed the information submitted by Mrs. Cloninger with Little

Blessings Nurturing Center regarding the request for tax exemption for parcel

ID 067 022 015. The Board asked Chief Appraiser Martin Land to check with City

Attorney Clifton Fay if this organization qualifies for tax exempt status for

the year 2005.



The following VA letter of application for VA exemption was reviewed and

approved:



Thompson 101 014 057 Approved.



Met with Residential Division Chief Bob O?Brien, reviewed and approved the

following:



2004 Map Splits: 3



Met with Commercial Division Chief Linda King and discussed parcel ID 002 015

002. The Board took no action.



Met with Personal Property Division Chief Oliver Juhan, reviewed and approved

the following:



Assessment Corrections: 1(-)

Freeport Exemption: 2 (Approved)
