Columbus, Georgia

WHEREAS, students from Eddy Middle School recently performed at the Clayton

County Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro, Georgia for the Georgia State

Middle School Honors Chorus;



WHEREAS, this event was sponsored by the Georgia Music Educators Association

and included approximately 500 of the top students in Georgia;



WHEREAS, the students from Eddy Middle School served as outstanding ambassadors

for Columbus during this event.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend Eddy Middle School Chorus Teacher, Beth Campbell and students

Deone Patterson, Denisha Purnell and Jessica Johnson who participated in the

Georgia State Middle School Honors Chorus held at the Clayton County Performing

Arts Center in Jonesboro, Georgia. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded

to the Principal of Eddy Middle School.
