WHEREAS, Columbus Fire and EMS Deputy Chief Robert Futrell recently became

certified in Homeland Security Level IV & Level V by the American College of

Forensic Examiners Institute and the American Board for Certification in

Homeland Security;



WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Futrell passed examinations given at the 2005 Regional

Conference of the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security in

Atlanta, Georgia;



WHEREAS, he has demonstrated a high level of proficiency in courses of study of

chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear materials and high-yield

explosives and incident command management and terrorism;



WHEREAS, Deputy Chief Futrell?s accomplishments are worthy of special

recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Columbus Fire and EMS Deputy Chief Robert

Futrell upon his Certifications in Homeland Security-Level IV & Level V by the

American College of Forensic Examiners Institute and the American Board for

Certification in Homeland Security. Let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded

to Deputy Chief Robert Futrell.

8th day of March, 2005, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
