WHEREAS, Mr. Willie E. Rozier, Sr., former employee with the Public Services
Department, died on January 22, 2005;
WHEREAS, Mr. Rozier retired on March 31, 2001 after serving 30 years with the
Public Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Willie E. Rozier, Sr. our sincere
condolences and deepest sympathy. Mr. Rozier was an outstanding employee with
the Public Services Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Jake Jones, former employee with the Columbus Water Works, died on
February 2, 2005;
WHEREAS, Mr. Jones retired on July 31, 1994 after serving 16 years with the
Columbus Water Works.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Jake Jones our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mr. Jones was an outstanding employee with the Columbus
Water Works and he will be missed by all who knew him.

on February 25, 2005;
WHEREAS, Mr. Huckaby retired on June 30, 1983 after serving over 15 years with
the Columbus Water Works.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Clyde Huckaby our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mr. Huckaby was an outstanding employee with the Columbus

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Walter T. Henderson our sincere
condolences and deepest sympathy. Mr. Henderson was an outstanding employee
