A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Lucina Heath has recently been crowned Ms. Senior for the west central

Georgia area;



WHEREAS, Ms. Heath has lived in the Pine Mountain Valley for 14 years and often

volunteers at Callaway Gardens at the Day Butterfly Center and Fantasy in

Lights as Mrs. Santa Claus;



WHEREAS, Ms. Heath has also worked at the Harris County Senior Center

decorating for special events and raising money for the purchase of furniture;



WHEREAS, the Ms. Senior Pageant focuses on seniors who are 60 years of age or

older and who exhibit a positive attitude on aging and actively serve the

community in which they live.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Lucina Heath upon being crowned Ms. Senior

for the west central Georgia area. We appreciate all that she does for the

Columbus and Harris County community and we wish her every success in the

future. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Lucina Heath.
