A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE

AGREEMENT BETWEEN COLUMBUS AND THE CIRCUIT PUBLIC DEFENDER TO REFLECT THE NEW

STATE REIMBURSEMENT RATE FOR MILEAGE, $.485 PER MILE, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE

BUDGET LIMITATIONS.



WHEREAS, this Council has previously authorized an agreement with the Circuit

Public Defender?s Office of the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit; and,



WHEREAS, the State of Georgia has changed its reimbursement rate for mileage to

$.485 per mile; and,



WHEREAS, this Council desires to amend said agreement to reflect this

new reimbursement rate, subject to applicable budget limitations.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



That the Mayor or City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to

the agreement between Columbus and the Circuit Public Defender to reflect the

new State reimbursement rate for mileage, $.485 per mile, subject to applicable

budget limitations.
