Meeting review:



A motion was made to elect a Chairman. Lee Grogan nominated Robert Turner. The

motion for Robert Turner for Chairman was carried.



A copy of the Ordinance was give to those board members that did not have them.



Ken Henson of Habitat for Humanity, Kathy Vaughn of Columbus Housing

Initiative, Inc. Carl Hopp of Habitat for Humanity and Franklin Douglas of CHDO

were in attendance.



There was discussion of surplus properties being transferred to the Land Bank.

The non-profits that were in attendance agreed they would accept the

properties. The Land Bank Authority will develop a process for disposing of

properties..



The properties will be sent to Council for their approval to be transferred to

the Land Bank. If Council approves transfer the Land Bank will meet on The

28th of November 2001.



All steps were discussed on the procedures of how the Land Bank will proceed

from acquiring to the distribution of property.



A motion to except parcels to be sent before Council was made. Seconded by

James Wilson and carried. The Land Bank Authority will meet quarterly after the

Council meets about the parcels, on November 28, 2001 at 3:00 pm. Kathy Vaughn

asked if all could be informed about the progress of the Land Bank. All will

be informed.



The question was asked how often do we need to meet Meeting will be called as

needed.



The time frame to go to Council will be a minimum of three weeks. The

ordinance will be changed. Jacob Beil has the procedures to transfer land from

the Land Bank to other entities. It was suggested that Jacob Beil become the

Land Bank Lawyer.



Having placed all business on the table a motion was made for the meeting to be

adjourned, the chairman adjourned the meeting.
