An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located on Schomburg Road, southeast of the main entrance to Maple Ridge

subdivision, from RE1 (Residential Estate 1) and SFR1 (Single Family

Residential 1) Districts to RO (Residential-Office) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and

the same is hereby amended by changing the following described property from

RE1 (Residential Estate 1) and SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) Districts to

RO (Residential-Office) District:



All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in part of Land Lot 1, 9th

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and being more particularly

described as follows:



COMMENCE at an iron stake which forms the intersection of the northerly line of

North Stadium Drive and the westerly line of Schomburg Road; thence North 06

degrees 57 minutes 08 seconds East a distance of 265.58 feet to an iron stake

on the easterly line of Schomburg Road and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence

northerly along the easterly line of Schomburg Road North 10 degrees 57 minutes

53 seconds West a distance of 812.38 feet to an iron stake; thence leaving said

right-of-way North 79 degrees 02 minutes 07 seconds East a distance of 193.26

to an iron stake on the southwesterly line of a Georgia Power Company easement;

thence North 55 degrees 29 minutes 24 seconds East a distance of 164.21 feet to

an iron stake on the northeasterly line of said Georgia Power Company easement;

thence South 47 degrees 33 minutes 57 seconds East along said easement a

distance of 280.33 feet to the center line of a creek; thence southerly and

southeasterly along the center line of said creek 386 feet more or less; thence

leaving said creek South 03 degrees 05 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of

289.22 feet to an iron stake in the center line of said creek; thence

southeasterly along the center line of said creek 111 feet more or less; thence

leaving said creek South 86 degrees 07 minutes 13 seconds West a distance of

554.46 feet to an iron stake on the easterly line of Schomburg Road and the

POINT OF BEGINNING.

the 13th day of December, 2005; introduced a second time at a regular meeting

of said Council held on the day of , 2005 and adopted at said
