An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 10051 Veterans Parkway, from A-1 (Agricultural) District to C-3

(General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from A-1 (Agricultural)

District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:



All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Muscogee

County, Georgia, and being identified as part of Parcel ?A? of the property of

Mrs. Velma Patrick as shown by a map or record in Plat Book 4, Page 10, in the

Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and

which said part of Parcel ?A? is particularly described as follows:



BEGINNING at a point on the western side of Veterans Parkway, which point marks

the dividing line between Parcel ?A? and Parcel ?B? of the property of Mrs.

Velma Patrick, and from said point running in a westerly direction along said

dividing line for a distance of four hundred (400) feet; thence running north

parallel with Veterans Parkway a distance of two hundred (200) feet; thence

running east parallel with dividing line between Parcel ?A? and ?B? four

hundred (400) feet to said Veterans Parkway thence running southerly along said

highway two hundred (200) feet to the point of beginning.





The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:



1. All lighting shall be directed internally using deflector shields.

2. Lighting shall not interfere with Veterans Parkway traffic.

3. No external trash dumpsters / compactors shall be located along the property

lines bordered by residential zoning districts.
