I. GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF HIGHWAY SAFETY:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved
accept a $10,000.00 grant from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety to
support the purchase of equipment and supplies to enhance traffic enforcement
and educating the public on highway safety. An agenda report and resolution
are included.
II. ACQUISITION/DONATION OF LAND:
Authorization is requested for the acceptance of the acquisition/donation of
12.53 +/- acres of property located on Chattsworth Road (north of Georgia
Railroad and US 80). An agenda report and resolution are included.
III. ACQUISITION/DONATION OF LAND:
Authorization is requested for the acceptance of the
acquisition/donation of 90 +/- acres of property located on Cusseta Road (less
than 1,000 feet from Ft. Benning) for the Greenspace Program . An agenda
report and resolution are included.
IV. ACCEPTANCE OF STREET:
Approval is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Ruth Creek Court
and the Detention Pond Lot located in Lowery Creek Subdivision. The Department
of Engineering has inspected this street and recommends the acceptance. An
agenda report, resolution and map are included.
V. PURCHASE AUTHORIZATION:
Approval is requested of items "A" thru "F":
A. Annual Maintenance & Support Agreement for the Oasis System
B. Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance Parts Facility (Annual Contract)
C. Physician & Physician's Assist Medical Services for Inmates at the Muscogee
County Jail & Muscogee County Prison
D. Outdoor Lighting at North Riverwalk
E. Election Supplies & Equipment Maintenance Parts

Material from the Columbus Landfill ? (Annual Contract) ? Bid No. 02-0134
Scope of Bid
Contractor pays a fee to the City for removal of metal, bulky items
and similar material from the Landfill. The contract shall be for one year
with the option to renew for two additional twelve-month periods. Contract
renewal will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the
Contractor.

1. 18-Hole Golf Course Renovation (Phase III & IV) ? RFP No. 02-0045
Scope of RFP
Provide construction services for the renovation of 18 holes at Bull Creek Golf
Course. The successful contractor will perform the work in two phases, 9 holes
per phase: Phase II for Holes 1-3 West & 13-18 West and Phase IV for Holes
4-12 West. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, clearing,
erosion control, lake development, storm drainage, fine grading and plant bed
prep, greens construction, bunkers construction, irrigation, grassing, etc.
