An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 1125 Lockwood Avenue, from R-3A (Medium Density Residential)

District to A-O (Apartment-Office) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-3A (Medium Density

Residential) District to A-O (Apartment-Office) District:

Commencing at an iron stake on the west side of Lockwood Avenue, which stake is

472.8 feet south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Wynnton Road

and Lockwood Drive, at which point is also the southeast corner of a lot owned

by A.H. Dudley; thence running South 15 degrees 45 minutes East along the west

side of Lockwood Drive for a distance of 90 feet to a point; thence running

South 74 degrees 10 minutes 30 seconds West a distance of 194.6 feet to a

dividing line between the lands of Shepherd on the west and Frederick on the

east; thence North 16 degrees 45 minutes West along said dividing line a

distance of 90 feet to an iron stake; which point is the southwest corner of

said Dudley parcel; thence running North 74 degrees 10 minutes 30 seconds East

along the south boundary line of the said Dudley parcel a distance of 194.6

feet to the west side of Lockwood Drive and the point of beginning.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



All lighting shall be directed internally using deflectors.
