WHEREAS, the Brookstone High School boys and girls soccer teams recently

received the Academic Award for 2001-2002 from the National Soccer Coaches

Association of America;



WHEREAS, this marks the second straight year that the Brookstone boys have

received this prestigious award;



WHEREAS, these achievements are worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate the Brookstone High School boys and girls soccer

teams upon their receipt of the Academic Award for 2001-2002 from the National

Soccer Coaches Association of America. Columbus is truly proud of these teams

and we wish them every success in the future.
