A RESOLUTION



NO.



WHEREAS, the Columbus Northern Little League 11 Year-Old All-Stars recently won

the District 8 Championship and the 2004 Georgia State Championship;



WHEREAS, the Northern All-Stars first won the District 8 Championship with a

record of 3-1 and defeated Pioneer 14-0, and defeated American twice by scores

of 9-1 and 7-4;



WHEREAS, the Northern Little League 11 Year-Old All-Stars then won the 2004

Georgia State Championship with a record of 5-1 and defeated Warner Robins

11-1, defeated Master City 10-1, defeated Walton County 10-0, defeated

Cartersville 7-3 and defeated Buckhead in the Championship game 11-3;



WHEREAS, this team's accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by this

Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate the following Columbus Northern Little

League 11 Year-Old All-Stars upon their victories in the District 8

Championship and the 2004 Georgia State Championship: Manager Darrell Williams

and Coaches Shane Beckwith, Tracy Hamilton and Will Thompson, Team Moms Litha

Hamilton and Kim Thomas, and Players Grey Bittinger, Zuriel Edwards, Stephen

Eldridge, Brady Hamilton, Mathew Hollis, Devin Jackson, Nick Mussatti, Tim

Reynolds, Shawn Thomas, Cody Walker, Quincy Williams. Columbus is truly proud

of this team?s hard work and dedication and we wish them every success in the

future. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the above-named

participants.
