AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance of the Consolidated
Government of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changing the zoning text of
Section 22-32 Off-street Parking Requirements, so as to authorize the decrease
of the number of parking spaces required for commercial, general business or
personal service establishments that cater to retail trade but not including
food stores.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Section 22-32 (C)(6) of the Columbus Code is deleted in its entirety.
SECTION 2.
Section 22-32 of the Columbus Code is amended by adding a new
Subsection (C)(6) to read as follows:
(C) Number of Spaces Required
(6) Commercial, general Four (4) spaces per
business or personal one thousand (1,000)
establishments that cater square feet of gross
to retail trade but not floor area
including food stores
