I. OFFICE OF SCHOOL READINESS SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept

funds from the Office of School Readiness, Georgia Department of Education for

administration of summer lunch program and snacks for fiscal and school year

2003-2004. An agenda report and resolution are attached.



II. STREET ACCEPTANCE - PLUM COURT AND AN EXTENSION OF CANDY LANE:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Plum Court and an extension of

Candy Lane located in Section Three, Sugar Mill Subdivision. The Department of

Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An

agenda report, map and resolution are attached.



III. REDEVELOPMENT OF ROBIN'S TRACE APARTMENTS - ENTERPRISE ZONE:



Authorization is requested to amend Resolution #140-02 in support of Robin's

Trace Apartments, 1600 Fort Benning Road, for 144 units instead of 100 units.

A Resolution of Support is needed by the applicant to score well on the

application. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.



NOTE: THERE WILL BE A PRE-COUNCIL BRIEFING TUESDAY,

AT 8:15 A.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER CONFERENCE

ROOM TO DISCUSS VARIOUS ISSUES.

IV. EASEMENT ABANDONMENT - SWEETWATER VILLAGE:



Authorization is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed for a portion of an

existing thirty foot storm sewer easement, property address known as 6225

Bayberry Drive, Section Seventeen, Sweetwater Village. An agenda report, map

and resolution are attached.



V. 2003 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS GRANT PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept

funds from the 2003 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, which will enable

Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services and other emergency response

agencies to communicate with each other. This will enhance the safety of our

firefighters, EMS personnel and citizens. An agenda report and resolution are

attached.

Provide engineering services for the design of a landfill gas collection and

control system for Pine Grove Municipal Solid Waste Landfill (MSW) and the

stations. The design must provide for the installation of gas collection wells

in Phase 1, Cells A & B with flare station.
