I. SALE OF CITY PROPERTY - 2809 AND 2931 BALDWIN STREET:
Authorization is requested to declare property located at 2809 and 2931 Baldwin
Street as surplus and authorize to advertise and sell said property for fair
market value. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.
II. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATED 20' RIGHT-OF-WAY:
Authorization is requested to accept the donation of two 20' strips of
right-of-way on Warm Springs Road adjacent to Springbrook Drive. An agenda
report and resolution are attached.
III. JUVENILE COURT - RESTITUTION GRANT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved
accept $32,676 in grant funds from the Office of the Governor, Children and
Youth Coordinating Council from funds allocated by Congress from the Juvenile
Justice Accountability Block Grant. An agenda report and resolution are
attached.

IV. FY2004 GRANT APPLICATION FOR CAPITAL/PLANNING ASSISTANCE:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved
accept $1,445,472 in grant funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA)
and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for capital, planning and
operating. An agenda report and two resolutions are attached.
V. GRANT - CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILY COALITION:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved
accept $50,000 in grant funds from the Georgia Department of Human Resources
to provide family connection activities in order to improve child health
including reduced incidences of teenage pregnancy, child abuse, neglect and
other risk factors that impact on the well being of Columbus children, youth,
and families. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
VI. STREET ACCEPTANCE - AARON LANE AND AARON DRIVE:
Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Aaron Lane and Aaron Drive
located in Section Three, Spring Ridge Subdivision. The Department of
Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An
agenda report, map and resolution are attached.

Scope of Bid
Construct a fire station at Veterans Parkway and Moon Road ? two bay with EMS
(Fire Station #3); at 1441 Benning Drive, Corner of Winston Road and Roper
Avenue ? three bay with EMS (Fire Station #10); and at Transport Boulevard and
Cargo Drive ? two bay with EMS (Fire Station #16). The scope of work includes,
