An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 8101 Blythe Street from GC (General Commercial) District to RO

(Residential-Office) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from GC (General

Commercial) District to RO (Residential-Office) District:



All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying in and being Part of Land Lot

269, 19th District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and being more

particularly described as follows:



Commence at an iron stake at the easterly end of a curve (radius equals 50?)

marking the intersection of the southerly line of Blythe Street and the

easterly line of Cooper Creek Road; thence South 75 degrees 26 minutes 24

seconds East, along the southerly line of Blythe Street, 120.0 feet to an iron

stake at the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 75 degrees 26 minutes 24 seconds

East along the southerly lien of Blythe Street 69.23 feet to an iron stake;

thence North 14 degrees 33 minutes 36 seconds East, across the end of Blythe

Street, 81.31 feet to an iron stake; thence North 61 degrees 06 minutes 13

seconds East, 182.77 feet to an iron stake; thence North 67 degrees 58 minutes

58 seconds East, 113.91; thence North 74 degrees 11 minutes 58 seconds East,

268.05 feet to an iron stake; thence southeasterly and southerly, along the arc

of a clockwise curve (said arc having a radius of 634.40 feet and being

subtended by a 54.08 foot chord bearing South 13 degrees 21 minutes 26 seconds

East) an arc distance of 54.10 feet to an iron stake; thence South 10 degrees

54 minutes 54 seconds East, 144.60 feet to an iron stake; thence South 65

degrees 39 minutes 10 seconds West, 657.38 feet to an iron stake; thence North

44 degrees 18 minutes, 04 seconds West, 117.57 feet to an iron stake; thence

North 14 degrees 33 minutes 19 seconds East, 120.0 feet to an iron stake and

the point of beginning; containing 3.46 acres.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:



1. The access onto Blythe Street shall be exit only from the apartment

complex.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on

the 29th day of November, 2005; introduced a second time at a regular meeting

of said Council held on the day of , 2005 and

adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said

Council.
