WHEREAS, Mr. Richard W. McKee, Director of the Public Services Department,

retired on December 31, 2002;

WHEREAS, Mr. McKee has been with the Public Services Department since October

December 8, 1983;

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

service of

MR. RICHARD W. MCKEE



who has served with the Public Services Department for 19 years. We wish for

him happiness and contentment in his retirement.

WHEREAS, Mr. Ray Evans, Division Manager with the Parks and Recreation

Department, retired on December 31, 2002;

WHEREAS, Mr. Evans has been with the Parks and Recreation Department since

January 28, 1995;

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

WHEREAS, Mr. Joe E. Bridges, former employee with the Risk Management Division,

died on October 30, 2002;

WHEREAS, Mr. Bridges retired on August 1, 1999 after serving 3 years with the

Risk Management Division.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Joe E. Bridges our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Bridges was an outstanding employee of the Risk

Management Divisions and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Ina Ruth Early, former employee with the Columbus Police

Department, died on November 23, 2002;

WHEREAS, Mrs. Early retired on November 1, 1982 after serving 20 years with the

Columbus Police Department.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Ina Ruth Early our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mrs. Early was an outstanding employee of the Columbus

Police Department and she will be missed by all who knew her.
