A RESOLUTION



NO.



WHEREAS, George M. McCluskey, Jr. has been recently selected as a 2002 inductee

to the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame;



WHEREAS, he founded Rehabilitation Services in Columbus which is the physical

therapy unit of the Hughston Clinic;



WHEREAS, Mr. McCluskey and his family, two sons who are orthopedists and one

son and daughter who are physical therapists, have helped famous sports stars

and ordinary citizens recover from sports injuries and corrective surgery;



WHEREAS, his sports rehabilitation business employs more than 300

people in the Columbus area;



WHEREAS, Mr. McCluskey graduated from Columbus High School where he

lettered in football, basketball and baseball and he has been named Small

Business Person of the Year and recognized as Family Business of the Year.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Mr. George M. McCluskey, Jr. upon his

selection as a 2002 inductee to the Chattahoochee Valley Sports Hall of Fame

and we wish him every success in the future. Let a copy of this Resolution be

forwarded to Mr. George M. McCluskey, Jr.
