On May 10th we propose to shut down and lock up all football fields maintained

by Columbus Parks and Recreation. These facilities will remain closed until

approximately July 19th. We will need the help of all agencies in the City to

help enforce this process, this does include the Columbus Police Department.

The only way we can maintain these areas is have the ability to use chemicals

and fertilizer. Even with these programs the grass will not spread and cover

the bare spots if the use of these facilities are not shut down for this period

of time. Thanks for your help in this matter.
