An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 4219 Warm Springs Road from GC (General Commercial) District to RO

(Residential-Office) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from GC (General

Commercial) District to RO (Residential-Office) District:



All those lots, tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being in the State

of Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being known and

designated as PARCEL ?H? and PARCEL ?I? on that certain plat of survey entitled

?SURVEY OF PROPERTY OF MRS. HATTIE ROGERS GRANT, PART OF LAND LOT 15, 8TH

DISTRICT,? dated October 27, 1975, prepared by Moon, Meeks, Patrick, Inc., and

recorded on February 21, 1980 in Plat Book 73, Page 52, in the Office of the

Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following

conditions:



1. No external trash dumpsters / compactors shall not be located within 50 feet

of the west property line.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on

the 13th day of September, 2005; introduced a second time at a regular meeting

of said Council held on the day of ______, 2005 and adopted

at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
