MINUTES # 45-04



The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, November 24, 2004,

at 2:00PM with Chairman Lawton Grantham, Assessors Richard Stallings, Ann

Grantham and William Braxton present. Also present was Chief Appraiser Martin

J. Land. Assessor Pat Hunter was absent.



Assessor William Braxton made a motion to approve Minutes # 44-04, Assessor

Richard Stallings seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The Board approved assessment corrections for real estate.



The Board reviewed the results of the field review for parcel ID 088 056 030 by

the Residential Division; the building was vacant and not being used. The

Residential Division was told the building will be altered at a later date and

will be used for Sunday School Rooms. The Board denied the request for

non-taxability for this property for 2004.



The Board met with City Attorney Clifton Fay to discuss pending personal

property court cases.

Met with Personal Property Division Chief Oliver Juhan, reviewed and approved

the following:
