WHEREAS, Mr. Roland E. Rumph, former employee with the Adult Probation

Department, died on October 1, 2005;

WHEREAS, Mr. Rumph retired on December 31, 1989 after serving 25 years with the

Adult Probation Department.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Roland E. Rumph our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Rumph was an outstanding employee with the Adult

Probation Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

8th day of November, 2005, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
