The term of office of Mr. Warren Steele on the Personnel Review Board will

expire on December 31, 2003. Mr. Steele does not wish to be reappointed.



As directed by the Council, a letter has been written to the Secretary of

the Board requesting that they check with the alternate members to see if it is

the desire of any other those alternate members to move up to a regular member

status.



Four of the five regular members on this board reside in Senatorial

District 16. There are three alternate members who reside in Senatorial

District 15. There are two alternate members who reside in Senatorial District

16.



There are currently two women who serve as alternate members. Enclosed is

a copy of our data sheet, as well as a list of the current members.

Charge/Mission

This board was established to make recommendations on personnel rules and

regulations, hear appeals from employees, and investigate conditions of

employment and report thereon at least annually to the Columbus Council. It

has five regular and five alternate members. All members are appointed by the

Columbus Council. (Columbus Charter Sec. 4-610 and 8-303, and Columbus Code

Sec. 16B-1-5)
