A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE APPLICATION BY INTEGRAL PROPERTIES, LLC TO
THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDITS
TO CONSTRUCT PHASE II ? PEABODY APARTMENTS A MIXED-INCOME COMMUNITY TO BE
LOCATED AT 1100 27TH STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of Columbus, Georgia (Authority) was
successful in obtaining a 2002 HOPE VI Revitalization Grant for Peabody
Apartments; and,
WHEREAS, Integral Properties, LLC was selected as the Authority?s
developer/partner in the revitalization of Peabody Apartments; and,
WHEREAS, Integral Properties, LLC was successful in obtaining
low-income housing tax credits for Phase I ? Peabody Apartments, a 182-unit
rental, mixed-income residential community; and,
WHEREAS, Integral Properties, LLC is applying to the Georgia Department
of Community Affairs (DCA) for low-income housing tax credits to construct
Phase II ? Peabody Apartments, a 182-unit rental, mixed-income residential
community to be located at 1100 27th Street; and,
WHEREAS, a summary of said application is attached hereto as Exhibit
A; and,
WHEREAS, DCA has established certain regulations whereby low-income
housing tax credit application, to be competitive, must be formally endorsed by
the governing authority of the pertinent municipality or county; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to endorse the aforementioned
application by Integral Properties, LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Columbus,
Georgia that the Council does hereby endorse the application by Integral
Properties. LLC, to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for low-income
housing tax credits to construct the proposed Phase II ? Peabody Apartments.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia,
held the 19th day of April , 2005, and adopted at said meeting by the
