AN ORDINANCE

An ordinance amending the "Official Street Map, City of Columbus,

Georgia," by changing the official street name for the section of public

roadway currently designated as Franklin Drive to "Adelaide Drive," to be one

street name consistent with the length of the roadway; authorizing the

replacement of existing street name signs labeled as Franklin Drive to Adelaide

Drive.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS :



Section 1.



The "Official Street Map, City of Columbus, Georgia" is hereby amended

as follows:



The name of Franklin Drive is hereby changed to Adelaide Drive running

south to north from Adelaide

Drive to Joyce Street, the entire length of roadway formerly known as

Franklin Drive.



Section 2.



An official street name sign shall be erected indicating "Adelaide

Drive" at its intersection with Joyce Street.



Section 3.



All ordinances and parts of ordinances that are in conflict with this

ordinance are hereby repealed.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia
