approval.)



(2) 1st Reading ? Rezoning property located at 7612 Fortson Road is proposed

for rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District to GC (General

Commercial) District. (56-A-05-Vaught) (Councilor Rodgers) (The Planning

Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommend approval.)



(3) 1st Reading ? Rezoning property located at 10305 and 10309 Fortson Road is

proposed for rezoning from RE1 (Residential Estate 1) District to HMI (Heavy

(5) 1st Reading ? Rezoning property located at 2723 Smith Road is proposed for

recommend conditional approval.)



(6) 1st Reading ? Rezoning property located at 7041 Whittlesey Boulevard is

proposed for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) District to GC

(General Commercial) District. (60-CA-05-Concordia Properties, LLC.)

(Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning Advisory Commission recommend approval and

the Planning Division recommend conditional approval.)

(7) 1ST Reading - An Ordinance regulating vehicular traffic in Columbus,

Georgia by establishing/amending the parking restrictions along the following

street segment: 19th Street ? Establishing a No Parking Anytime, 8:00 am to

6:00 pm school days, along the North and South curbs of 19th Street, beginning

at the East curb of Wildwood Avenue running Easterly to the West curb of Carter

Avenue; authorizing the installation of official traffic control signs

indicating said parking restrictions; repealing any conflicting ordinances and

for other purposes. (Councilor McDaniel)

(8) 2nd Reading -An Ordinance amending the budgets for the fiscal year 2006

beginning July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006, for certain funds of the

Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, appropriating from fund balances

amounts shown in each fund for purchases and activities continued from the 2005

fiscal year, and for other purposes. (Budget Chairperson Pugh)

(9) Commending and congratulating Roy Waters, Columbus Chief of Fire and

Emergency Medical Services and Director of Emergency Management Agency, upon
