I. BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS:



Authorization is requested for the Board of Water Commissioners of Columbus,

Georgia to submit a bid to the United States Army Engineer District, Fort

Worth, Texas for the Privatization of Water Distribution and Wastewater

Collection Systems, Fort Benning, Georgia. An agenda report and resolution are

included.







II. ACCEPTANCE AND DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY:



Authorization is requested to accept, declare surplus and sell 7,500 sq. ft of

property located at 912 Benning Drive from South Columbus Development

Organization and reimburse $35,000 to the Department of Housing and Urban

Development. An agenda report, resolution and map are included.







II. QUIT CLAIM DEED ? GORDAN A. CUMBAA:



Authorization is requested to abandon portions of an unnamed unopened road

located adjacent to 5720 Forrest Road and execute a Quit Claim Deed to Gordan

A. Cumbaa the adjacent property owner. An agenda report, resolution and map

1. Surveillance Equipment for Government Center Complex - RFP

Scope of RFP

Provide, install and maintain surveillance equipment at the Government Center

Complex. The system will be a combination of fixed, pan and tilt cameras for

both internal and external surveillance purposes. Vendors must perform an

on-site study of the premises to determine the type of equipment that will be

necessary to provide the required surveillance equipment.

Scope of RFP

Provide Columbus Consolidated Government comprehensive energy and water

conservation and management services and related capital improvement services

for selected facilities owned by the City within the framework of an Energy

Performance Contract (EPC).

1. Riverwalk - Bibb City to City Mills, Phase II ? Bid No. 03-0024

Provide services for the construction of a proposed Riverwalk Extension between

32nd Street north along the Chattahoochee River to a point near 38th Street.

The work primarily involves clearing, grubbing, grading, installation of a four

hundred foot (400') prefabricated steel bridge and construction of a

twelve-foot (12') wide asphalt pathway at-grade, as depicted on the drawings.

The work also includes installation of small buildings associated with parking

for an overlook area in the vicinity of 38th Street.
