A RESOLUTION

NO.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A PASS-THROUGH GRANT FROM THE

GOVERNOR'S EMERGENCY FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,000 TO EASTWAY YOUTH FOOTBALL

LEAGUE AND AMEND THE MULTI-GOVERNMENTAL FUND BY A LIKE AMOUNT.

WHEREAS, Columbus, as the local government agency, is the conduit for certain

grants appropriated by the Governor's Office for community service agencies;

and,

WHEREAS, upon acceptance of the grant agreement and execution of contract,

Columbus Consolidated Government will receive funds and then process payment to

Eastway Youth Football League.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY

RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

1. That the the grant agreement, subsequent contracts and funds be processed

by Columbus Consolidated Government for Eastway Youth Football League as

appropriated by the Governor's Office.



2. That the Mayor, City Manager, and other officials of Columbus Consolidated

Government are authorized to take such actions as required to satisfy the grant

conditions.

3. That the Multi-Governmental Fund be amended by $8,000 in revenue and

expenditures for addition of this grant.
