A RESOLUTION

NO.





WHEREAS, Coach Blair Harrison of Brookstone School was recently named the

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer's Coach of the Year;



WHEREAS, in only his second football season at Brookstone, Coach Harrison led

the Cougars to their first seven-win regular season since 1993;



WHEREAS, the Cougars lost in the state playoffs after an outstanding year;



WHEREAS, before coming to Brookstone, Coach Harrison was the defensive

coordinator at Webb School in Knoxville, Tennessee, where his team won the 1996

state championship;



WHEREAS, Coach Harrison's accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by

this Council.





NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Brookstone School Coach Blair Harrison upon

being named Coach of the Year by the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer. Let a copy of

this Resolution be forwarded to Coach Blair Harrison.
