We are beginning the Work Plan developed by the University of Georgia (UGA).

The Work Plan will enable UGA and the City to progressively work towards a

successful Pay and Classification Plan. The first steps will be employee

meetings with Carl McCoy starting with Department & Agency Directors, followed

by employee meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to inform all of us how

the study will be done (Steps), what is expected of employees, and what is

expected of supervisors and directors.



We have set up a schedule that we hope will accommodate all employees who wish

to attend. These sessions are not mandatory. As the schedule indicates you may

send any of your employees to most of the sessions. Position questionnaires

will be sent to you at a later date.
