A Resolution canceling the regular Council meeting originally scheduled

for December 27, 2005.



WHEREAS, Monday, December 26, 2005 is a regular holiday for the Columbus

Consolidated Government; and from time to time the Administration will request

the cancellation of a meeting; and,



WHEREAS, the business of the Consolidated Government can be properly

conducted without the necessity of a Council meeting on Tuesday, December 27,

2005;



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



That the regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia originally

scheduled for December 27, 2005 is hereby cancelled.

Introduced and read at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus,

Georgia held on the 29th day of November 2005 and adopted at said meeting by

the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
